This Is Me...

For many years, photography and digital design captured my attention over all other forms of art, and my love for photography is where I got my start. When I wasn’t hanging out with friends or doing things with family, I could usually be found playing with my parents’ camera. Eventually, they got tired of my habit of borrowing theirs, and decided that I needed my own, and from then on, I've typically had a camera within arm’s reach.

Upon reaching high school, I was presented with the opportunity to apply for a vocational Graphic Arts program, and begin to expand my knowledge of how to begin creating the very type of photography and designs I admired. Soon I began learning editing and photographic manipulation, expanding my abilities beyond just shooting. Graphic design was also being introduced to be me, and I continued to grow my skills in both areas. Upon entering college, I was introduced to the program Adobe Illustrator, and quickly found a new favorite program that I used to grow and expand my skills in for 2 years. When I left the school, it was with a bachelor’s degree of science for Digital Arts & Design in hand.

Now I continue to work on my skills while designing and photographing various subjects. Aside from doing some seasonal work as a school photographer during this past and upcoming fall seasons, I also do a handful of freelance photo shoots and design projects for friends and family. While I continue photographing friends and family, I typically tend to lean towards more lifestyle shooting which I feel showcases more of the subject's personality over standard posed shots.
