Samantha Kruse

During one of my first classes in school that introduced the Adobe Illustrator program, I was tasked with choosing a location and then creating a travel advertisement based on my choice. Living only thirty minutes from the Maine coast, I decided to choose the favorite summertime destination of York Beach's Nubble Lighthouse.

I took my inspiration for my design from my own photography, and worked on recreating the very photograph that I had taken. I utilized gradients and different levels of opacities to bring all of the elements together and make everything work.
